O’Brien Charitable Trust Donates £10k to Warwickshire & Northamptonshire Air Ambulance

On a very chilly, wet and windy day O’Brien Charitable Trust (OBCT) had the pleasure of meeting with the Warwickshire & Northamptonshire Air Ambulance staff at  their Coventry Airport air base . The meeting was an opportunity for the OBCT team to congratulate the Air Ambulance staff on their fantastic work and hand over the £10,000 donation raised by O’Brien staff in 2017.

While at the air base, the OBCT team were delighted to be given a guided tour of the multi-million-pound helicopter and life-saving equipment and gain a greater understanding of how the air ambulance team carry out their duties from discussions with Jo Payne, National Partnerships Manager, the pilot, paramedic and doctor who were all working their shift that day.

Kelly Davis, from OBCT, said: “It was great to chat to everyone, I was really interested to hear the funds would be used to help with running costs, kit and training of the staff. At OBCT we feel the service provided is vital for providing life-saving treatment and it so important that charities like this one are supported so they can carry on the fantastic work they do.”
