The scheme is at the former Virgin Media headquarters in Birmingham and had a main fibre optic cable route running through it that had to be protected at all times.

The foundations for the building consisted of mass filled concrete bases and ground beams up to 2.9m deep. In total over 2,700m³ of concrete was used.
A new drainage system for the school was also installed, including a petrol interceptor and 2 storm attenuation tanks.
The external works consisted of approximately 500m of drainage channels and 200m of new kerbs to form the access roads, playgrounds and car parks.
