St Finbarr’s GAA Sports & Social Club in Coventry, was formed in 1953 and is one of the founding members of Wawrickshire GAA.
Requirement
We secured a design and build contract for the construction of a 3G sports pitch for St Finbarr’s Sports and Social Club, Coventry.
The project involved earthworks drainage, sub base, fencing, lighting and surfacing for the sports club. Desso IDNA 3G was laid on the 70m x 40m pitch and a central dividing curtain was installed to allow the sports club to play multiple 5-a-side games.
Due to the locality of the sports pitch we ensured that the floodlighting was sympathetically designed to reduce the impact of the lighting on the residential area.
